The Indian
Army is the land-based branch and the largest component of the Indian Armed
Forces. It sets a better ground for the youths of India for their better and
bright future.Now again Indian Army looking for Men and women with quality of
idealism, intellect and courage and for this it
has issued notification for the recruitment of 54 vacancies through NCC Special
entry Scheme 36 Course-Oct 2014 Short Service Commission (NT). So it is here by
informed to all candidates that Applicants (unmarried, married Male/ Female)
and also from the wards of Battle Causalities of Army Personnel are invited for
Grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army. Other details like age limit,
educational qualification, selection process and how to apply are given below:
1 1) Last date of
receipt of application at NCC Bn/Gp HQ: 30-01-2014.
2) Last date of
receipt of application at Rtg Dte from Dte Gen NCC:
28-02-2014.
3) Last date of
receipt of Application in Rtg Dte for Wards of battle
causalities: 17-02-2014

Eligibility Criteria
for Indian Army NCC Recruitment 2014
Age Criteria: -
Candidate’s age should
be above than 18 yrs and below than 25 yrs.
Educational
Qualification: -
Qualification for NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders:
Candidate must possess Degree from recognized university having minimum
50% marks in all the yrs. The
candidate must possess graduation degree at the time of joining training at OTA. He should have served for minimum two
academic years in the Senior Division/Wing of N.C.C & should have obtained
minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.
Qualification for
Ward of battle Causalities of Army Personnel:
- Candidate should possess Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
- 2) However NCC’C’ certificate not required.
Conditions
of Eligibility:-
1) A Candidate should be a citizen of India, Bhutan, and
Nepal, a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 Jan 1962 and permanently
settled here.
2) Candidates withdrawn on disciplinary ground from
NDA, IMA, OTA or any other Service Training Academy are not eligible to apply.
Indian Army NCC Recruitment Notification 2014 details
Process of Selection:
-
A Candidate will be
selected only on the basis of their screening, physical standards, visual
standards and physical fitness standards at OTA followed by Group test,
Physical test, interview and medical examination.
How to Apply for the Post:-
Eligible Candidates are informed
that they should send their Applications on a plain paper, duly typed in the
prescribed format mentioned in the advertisement to the nearest OC, NCC unit
from where NCC’C’ Certificate has been issued. Candidates who are serving in the Armed Forces should send
application in the Armed Forces duly counter-signed by Commanding Officer to
the OC, NCC Unit from where NCC’ ‘C’ certificate has been issued. Candidates under category of Wards if Battle Casualties
to send their applications direct to Gen
Directorate of Recruitment/Rtg-6, NCC Entry, West
Block-III, R.K Puram, New Delhi-110066. All necessary documents must be
attached with Application form and should be send on or before 01-08-2013
